Hugo Mejia Loera grew up learning American Sign Language, Mexican Sign Language, Spanish, and English. His parents are Deaf, and he was raised in Dinuba, California, a small town in the Central Valley.
He attended San Diego State University, where he studied Communication, Television, Film, and New Media. He is now actively involved in projects as an actor, writer, and producer, with credits across short films, features, and series that highlight Latinos as leads in elevated, character-driven stories.

Tomás Trafa is an Argentinian actor based in Los Angeles. Tomás received training from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He's is bilingual, speaking fluently in both Spanish and English. He has a high energy and a big personality that brings authenticity, diversity, and truth into his acting.

Edgar Jezrael Perez is an actor based in LA, currently studying film production at the University of California. With roots from immigrant parents, he was recently a lead role in the award-winning short film “Freak” by RJ Sanchez. Edgar resonates with Unidos ‘26 and the struggles faced by the characters.
“I believe art is a reflection of its time and this project has true potential to make an impact on our communities and the country. These stories need to be told now more than ever.”

Maria Montenegro

Maria Montenegro was born in Los Angeles and was always interested in acting. She took part in a several plays throughout elementary and high school before stopping acting to become a wife and mother. Maria returned to acting in 2018. She resonates with the love, family, laughter and struggles found within Unidos ‘26. “It touches my heart not only as a mother but also as a Latina woman.”

Ivan Bernal

Ivan Bernal is a Mexican Actor raised in Dallas, Texas with over 18 years of professional acting experience. Some of his recent credits include: MARVEL's Spanish podcast "WOLVERINE: LA LARGA NOCHE," ABC's “The Rookie,” and the Netflix film “Animals” directed by Ben Affleck.
Ivan has also received a Recognition by The Los Angeles City Mayor Eric Garcetti for his contributions to the Los Angeles Arts and Culture.
